What is Grace?

  • ‘God’s free and unmerited favour, shown to sinners through the atoning death of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.’ [1]
  • ‘God’s goodness toward those who deserve only punishment.’ [2]
  • ‘the active communication of divine blessings by the inworking of the Holy Spirit, out of the fulness of Him who is “full of grace and truth”’[3]
