The Baptism of the Spirit and the Cross of Jesus

 

Tomorrow is Whitsunday, a.k.a. Pentecost, when Christians all over the world turn our attention to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. But if we want to be filled with the Spirit, we need to look to the Cross. Here's a seven minute video where I explain how, for the Spirit flows from the Cross and the Spirit flows to the Cross.

Over the next few weeks, I'm going to try and answer some Pentecostal/Charismatic-type questions in some more videos like this. We'll think about questions like:

• What is Speaking in Tongues?
• What is a Pentecostal?
• How should prophecy be tested?
• Is it always God's will to heal?

I can't promise I'll answer every question, but I'll try to answer as many as possible.
